"Went there yesterday for breakfast. I have lived in Oregon City for most of my life, and for some reason I just heard about this place. Walking in is just like going into an old fashion diner. I immediately fell in love with all the memorabilia everywhere on the walls. As soon as me and my wife sat down, Pappy the owner came over, put his hand on my shoulder, said welcome in and asked if we needed a cup of coffee. Afterwards, he came back with 2 cups of delicious coffee and asked us if this was our first time visiting and where we were from. The omelets we ordered were so big, we both needed a to go box. And i couldn't finish mine the next day! This will be our go to breakfast spot as long as they are open. Can't say enough good things about this delicious diner!"

"It was a great meal, country fried steak and eggs. Good portions unfortunately the price of breakfast went up to $4.00 per order and $2.00 for lunch. The sign if the times I guess. A side note: The guests and the waitress were moving around chairs. Well they didn't have felt on the legs. They made horrible sounds when moved. "Need felt" Today we had the country side steak and eggs again and noticed no sausage in the gravy. So bland, apparently the sausage was deduced by the owner."

"1st time here at Pappy's. Met a mutual friend here. He kept telling me how much like the breakfasts here. Especially, the homemade sausage patty's. It was like eating at home. Got our own unique coffee mug. Service was amazing. A cool 50' early 60' memorabilia vibe. And he was right! Sausage patty...yummy! And the biscuits and gravy, on point! Next time I am in town. I know where I am going."

"We stumbled onto this place and it's so awesome. 50's style setup. Seat yourself, coffee is good, all different mugs which I thought was really cool. Owner "Pappy" was there hanging out and chatting with clients and regulars. Real good hometown feel. We will go back. Food was great!"

"Good food that’s very reasonably priced and the portions are huge. Lots of items are made from scratch. Friendly nice staff. The owner walked around to say “Good morning” to all his customers which made it very inviting. This is a must try in the Canby area. We came from Woodburn. Open 7-2 Weds-Sun. We’ll be back to try lunch next time. Oh and don’t let the name scare you, none of the food was greasy"

"Pappys greasy spoon is a small town hidden gem. It is very vintage and authentic decorated with Americana and Coke antiques. The food is great and very inexpensive. The portions are good. Everything is tasty. Everything is made to order and served hot. We especially like the pancakes, which were slightly chewy and very tasty just the way we like it. The hashbrowns are crispy and the butter plentiful. The meat lovers omelette is packed with meat and very good. I’d recommend getting the biscuit. It was very soft moist and creamy. There is a parking lot and street parking, but the actual restaurant is not obvious. It is inside an old mall, but it is downtown Canby. The service is fast, efficient and genuinely friendly. There is also a bar to eat at this place has every component of a classic diner from days gone by. Well, worth the trip I will be coming back. This place is great!"
